Holy crap, it’s amazing what a month+ will do to almost completely erase what progress you’d made! Almost fully recovered from an upper respiratory infection, I decided that weekends would be prime time for exercise since my weekdays are packed. I got out there and did a day of week four – it was so hard. I got through the first cycle without much incident, but developed a side ache in the first part of the second cycle. By the end of the second cycle, I was plodding along pretty slowly – I probably could have walked past myself easily if I were to compare speeds. Nonetheless, it felt great to get out there and get moving again; hopefully this is a step in the right direction that I can keep going. I’m attempting a reduced-carb diet (yes, crash dieting) to drop some weight fast, so we’ll see how that goes.
