eating out without stressing out

I was a good girl all day yesterday. I knew that we were going to be going out to dinner, and wanted to be able to enjoy it, rather than stressing out over portions and ingredients. I started off with two turkey breakfast sausage links (one point each!) in a 2 point mini pita pocket.

Lunch was a hodgepodge salad at the request of R – grapes, glazed walnuts, Italian dressing, chicken, and some tiny pieces of smoked “gouda” (cheese substitute made from hazelnuts).

And dinner … dinner was from a lovely place called Vita Cafe here in Portland, specialising in veg*an fare. I got the “cheesesteak” (Daiya cheese and seitan) and shared some fries with R. Absolutely delicious. I was stuffed when we were done. I also couldn’t wait to eat it … hence the bite in the picture. 😉

I felt guilty about the fries (totally unnecessary though still within my points), so I did a repeat of week 1 of C25K. I’m pushing off my start of week 3 until tomorrow.
