So it turns out that it’s way easier to run when you haven’t eaten than when you’re dehydrated – I forgot to eat breakfast this morning, in my haste to beat the summer heat, and realised it right as I started my first running session. Even so, today was a lot easier than the first day, and I found it easier to stop focusing on how many seconds had gone by, which always makes the time drag.
